Established on July 5, 1978, the B.K.M. Registered Educational Society—located in Balachaur, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh (S.B.S.) Nagar—has been a foundational vehicle for advancing higher education within the historically underserved regions of Punjab. Founded under the leadership of the current Chairman, Sh. S.K. Sharma, the society was created to honor the memory of Smt. Bhagwanti and Sh. Kewal Krishan.
